with a week of festivities in his honor.
Congratulations to our holy founder!

15 May • Basilica St. John Lateran: Holy Mass at St. John Lateran, presided over by Mons. Angelo De Donatis, Vicar General of Rome
16 May • Ss. Salvatore in Onda: Holy Mass at the resting place of St. Vincent Pallotti, presided over by Rector General Fr. Jacob Nampudakam SAC
19 May •Mary Queen of Apostles Church: A customary solemn Vigil of Pentecost was organized by the Union's National Coordination Council of Italy. Before the two hour service, the Society's Vicar General- Fr. Jòzef Lasak- presided over a Holy Eucharistic celebration.
Spiritual inputs from the Vigil Service- taken from the divine writings of our founder- were focused on the bicentenary of his priestly ordination.
A most special joy this year was the presence of 12 of the Society's newly ordained priests, who came to Rome from our many provinces and regions. The gift of their jovial and youthful company added to the beauty of Pallottine communion and prayer; held in front of the original painting of Mary in the Cenacle.
20 May • Pentecost Sunday • Pallottine Mother House: Happy 180th Anniversary to the Pallottine Sisters!
Come, Holy Spirit! Its fruits were upon our Italian family this afternoon, as we celebrated Holy Mass at the first house of the Pallottine Sisters; giving praise for an abundance of gifts, and thanks for the birth of the Sisters' congregation!
Mass was presided by Fr. Antonio Lotti, Provincial Rector of Queen of the Apostles Province, Italy, who used St. Vincent Pallotti's chalice during consecration. Mother Ivete Garlet- Superior General of the Pallottine Sisters- shared words of gratitude before the celebration commenced, followed by the renewal of vows led by Izabela Świerad- Superior General of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters.
