As the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches, Confirmation “perfects baptismal grace; it ... gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds” (n. 1316).

As it be so, then Pallotti’s youth at our Parish in Tanzania are ever ready to fulfill St. Vincent’s Spirit: that all of the baptized are called to be apostles, following the very footsteps of those in the Upper Room so sacred of our Founder.

Thus, in the words of St. John Paul II, go forth and “begin to “proclaim the mighty works of God” (cf. Acts 2:11)…. rediscover with joyful wonder the saving power of this gift of the Holy Spirit!”
