Young Missionaries in the City!

“TO LOVE GOD AND NEIGHBOR IS NOT SOMETHING ABSTRACT, BUT PROFOUNDLY CONCRETE: IT MEANS SEEING IN EVERY PERSON AND FACE OF THE LORD TO BE SERVED, TO SERVE HIM CONCRETELY. AND YOU ARE, DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, IN THE FACE OF JESUS.”
POPE FRANCIS

Heeding the wisdom of Pope Francis, “if we truly wish to encounter Christ, we have to touch his body in the suffering of the poor.” Thus, the same young missionaries who collected food for over 400 families during the Thanksgiving holiday, traveled to serve their neighbors in need.

They were guided by Fr. Peter Sticco, the Pallottine Sisters, and staff of Our Lady of Grace Academy.

It was a beautiful day.
